Pauli’s Spin Formalism and Parity of Nuclei are discussed
in this video lecture. Pauli’s spin operator is defined in terms of the
spin vector. Further Spin operator components is defined in terms of
matrices of 2×2 rank. Pauli’s spinor that defines the spin state of the
particle in terms of the one column matrices. Alpha and beta are the
symbols for that. The Pauli’s operator when operates on the spinor gives
important results and some other basic properties of the operators are analyzed here.
